Edge computing in space sounds a lot like sci-fi until you understand how it works - then it starts to make a lot of sense. No wonder the topic is trending across all industries.
The objective of this infographic was to present the step-by-step process of edge computing in the context of Earth observation satellites. It's quite a complex process so a lot of work went into reducing it to its simplest elements to keep the visual accessible to a non-space industry audience.
